I’m a 27 year old woman with a young child and I recently became a widow when my husband passed away eleven months ago. Ever since that happened my life became slow and lethargic… I hardly ate or went out at all. Finally, when the grief started to subside I began trying to meet people. One day Ill find someone and get more serious with them, but for now I am having the first fun I have had in years and its definitely carrying over to other parts of my life. I’m more patient at home, I’m doing better at work and my friends have even noticed the bounce in my step is starting to return.

That’s why when I read these idiots posting that Fling is a scam I get totally angry about it. Fling is free, so it can’t be a scam… and in many ways it saved my life – at the very least it completely saved my social life. I have met so many new friends, explored many parts of my personality more fully and gone from being a frowner five days a week to someone with a smile that never disappears. Get your own account, be honest about what you want (even if you tell some white lies about who you are) and you’ll do fine. Heck, maybe we might even meet for a drink sometime – wink!
