Black Swan starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder was one hell of a good movie. The sound and visual effects were just amazing. However, I think it was a little weak. The dark atmospheric mood in the film was convincing though I think it fell a little short in creepy scenes. I would have liked to see more scenes, such as the one where Natalie Portman “Nina” is clipping her nails in front of a mirror and the girl in the mirror looks back at her with this diabolical look in her eyes. Chills when up my spine in that particular scene. More of that would have made it perfect for me…

The obvious scene that blew everyone away across the board was the lesbian scene with Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. Let’s face it they’re both absolutely gorgeous young women. The scene was heavy but in good taste that I’m sure both women and men enjoyed very much. It sure blew my socks away!

It’s definitely not a movie for all for many reasons. Some may say it was kind of slow; some may dislike it because it centers around ballet dancing and others were just expecting a horror film. Nonetheless, for a one-time watch it’s great. However, I liked it very much and as soon as it’s released on DVD I will add it to my movie collection.
