Wyclef Jean was rushed to the hospital but later released after getting shot in the hand in Haiti, as reported by CNN. The incident happened in Port-au-Prince on early Saturday, according to the rep, who has made a statement that “He is doing well.” The singer is in Haiti a day before the country goes to the polls for a vote in its presidential election.
Wyclef Jean is a Haitian musician, record producer, and politician. At age nine, Jean moved to the United States with his family and has spent much of life being raised in Brooklyn, New York. He first received fame as a member of the acclaimed New Jersey very well known hip hop group, the Fugees.

Emma Bunton, Baby Spice, announced her engagement via Twitter yesterday and was sporting a beautiful rock her soon to be hubby proposed with. “Yahooooo I’m Engaged! Love you Jade! I’m a very happy lady!!” the former Baby Spice tweeted. However, at 35, it seems that Bunton is not a “baby” anymore!

Emma Bunton and her fiance’ Jade Jones, have been together for around 10 years and have a son together, Bea Lee Jones. Emma is currently pregnant with their second child, due in May 2011.
