The Real Housewives of Atlanta – Kandi Burruss

Posted in Real Houswives

kandi burruss

Kandi “Kandi Girl” Burruss is no stranger to the camera. Before being part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, a spin-off of the Bravo show, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Burruss was part of the female R&B group, “Xscape”. Xscape shared most of their success in the early 90s and also featured Kandi’s sisters Latocha, Tamika Scott and childhood friend Tameka Cottle.

Although being part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has now resurrected Kandi’s otherwise dead career, she admits that she wasn’t crazy about being part of the show at first. Kandi Burruss recently mentioned, “Now, I’m glad I’m a part of the show, At first, when I signed on and folks went crazy on the blogs, I was like, ‘Wait a minute, hold on, did I do the right thing?’ But now I’m cool with it.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently in its second season and airs on the Bravo network on Thursdays at 10 p.m. For more information on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss and more, keep visiting Frisky Spot.
