Apparently, sometime last week when Moby walked into his house, he was graced by a surprise visit from a complete stranger that just so happens to be sitting on his couch tripping balls on LSD.

Moby was sympathetic about this intruder’s trippy predicament and didn’t call the cops. If that wasn’t cool enough, he also, hooked him up with 20 bucks and a sweater and sent the acid tripping dude on his way.

According to TMZ, Moby said: “He was completely harmless … It was too early to cook breakfast for him. So, we just gave him $20 and a sweatshirt and sent him on his way for breakfast.”

That was way cool of Moby. I suppose his coolness stems from understanding the sometimes-outlandish acts “one” is capable of when under the influence of acid. Cheers to Moby for being so damn cool!

Michael Shannon is an amazing actor that’s remained under the radar for much too long. But in the last few years he’s been emerging into the radar with supporting roles and lead roles in Independent Films.

He’s a little rough around the edges and definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. But if you appreciate a good solid and bold performance you’ll surely love Michael Shannon and the projects he’s been in.

He was born in Kentucky just like Johnny Depp, it kind of makes you wonder what other gems may Kentucky be hiding in their humble little state. Though very different from each other they both choose roles that are bold, daring, eccentric, off beat and sometimes disturbing.

Michael Shannon has become one of my favorite actors in the last couple of years, especially after seeing “Bug” last year. It’s a completely bizarre movie with excellent performances from Shannon and Ashley Judd. I’m just sorry I didn’t see it sooner. It’s truly thought provoking, edge of your seat psychological thriller/drama/character study!

Michael Shannon will be starring in “The Iceman” movie next to Benicio Del Toro and James Franco. Three of my favorite actors are coming together in this project, I honestly can’t wait.

The Iceman is based on the book, “The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer.” The book is based on the notorious killer/assassin that did many jobs for the mob, Richard Kuklinski. He was a cold-hearted mob contract killer that froze his victims and threw off investigations with the timing of death. Ironically enough he was also, a loving husband and father… Michael Shannon will be playing: Richard Kuklinski.

Benecio Del Toro will be playing “Roy Demeo,” a notorious mobster that employed Richard Kuklinski. James Franco will be playing “Mr. Softee,” “Roy Demeo’s” mentor and friend.

The Iceman is going to be really strong in content due to its nature. Richard Kuklinski was a violent killer. He had little or no regards for human life and often killed for no apparent reason. He’s also, known for killing animals. He was a very sick, disturbed and dangerous man that mobsters trusted to get certain jobs done.

I love the fact, which Michael Shannon will be playing this disturbing man. Michael Shannon is well known for his off beat and eccentric roles. I’m looking forward to this movie with an amazing cast with great anticipation.

I though it be a great time to go back and watch some of his older films and take a peek at some of his greatest performances. These listed above are my personal favorites and the top films he’s best known for…I suppose you can say for a while he was best known for his erotic thrillers such as “Fatal Attraction.” The film is a classic and very scary. It just shows how nutty a woman can become when she becomes obsessed with a man. Basically his wife was out of town and he meets a hot blonde, “Glenn Close.” He has an affair with her and when he wants to call it off when his wifey gets back into town, the women goes crazy. It’s a great movie, with steamy sex scenes.

Then he did “Basic Instinct” next to Sharon Stone. The sex scenes were off the chain and Sharon Stone even flashes the detectives during an interrogation. (NO PANTIES!) So if you haven’t seen it, you might want to revisit this little erotic gem. In this film Michael Douglas is investigating a murder where the prime suspect is a novelist, Sharon Stone. Though she’s the main suspect in his case and he’s in charge of the investigation he ends up having hardcore sex with this babe.

Then came, “Disclosure” next to the forever-lovely Demi Moore. In this film, she’s the boss and she’s in the mood for a little office sex. She tries to seduce poor Michael Douglas but when he rejects her sexy advances, she becomes furious, a tad frisky, if you will and turns the tables and accuses him of sexual harassment. Naturally, they believed her because she’s a woman and “why wouldn’t he? she’s so hot, etc.” A must see!

Michael Douglas has always been in great films and is a wonderful actor, husband and father. I’m so very happy to hear that’s he’s doing better and getting back to do some more kick ass films for all of us to enjoy!
